🚀 What is DAS?
DAS is a practical cross-chain decentralized account system that provides a globally unique name system with a .bit suffix.
It can be used in scenes such as crypto transfers, domain name resolution, and identity authentication. DAS has strong cross-chain capabilities, supporting ETH/TRX and any other public chain address.
bitcoin.bit and 🚀🌕.bit are all DAS accounts.
How to register a DAS account?
🔮 What is bit.cc?
Bit.cc combines personal homepage with records of DAS skillfully. Therefore, it is easy for everyone to build a lightweight decentralized personal homepage.
After you register a DAS account, you will automatically have a corresponding bit.cc decentralized personal homepage. For example, if I have registered dastothemoon.bit, I will automatically own the dastothemoon.bit.cc decentralized personal homepage.
Unlike other personal homepage products, bit.cc provides a homepage that displays information that is stored on chain. Only the owner of DAS account can modify, and bit.cc cannot modify or delete the content of your homepage.
To meet diverse needs, bit.cc offers two scenarios for the time being. One is as a personal homepage, and the other is to support redirection of bit.cc domain to specified URL.
🤠 I want to use bit.cc as my personal homepage, how do I change the bit.cc appearance?
All the presentation info in bit.cc comes from the records stored on the chain in your DAS account. So to change the appearance of bit.cc, you can simply change records in your DAS account (http://da.systems).
*Example: http://dastothemoon.bit.cc
🌚🌝 Set/modify the theme
bit.cc already supports two themes, light mode (light) and dark mode (dark).
To choose the theme, simply add/modify a special record in your DAS account.
- Custom key: bitcc_theme
- Custom value: light/dark
*Light is the default if not set.
👋 Set/modify the welcome message
To set/modify the welcome message, simply add/modify a special record in your DAS account.
- Custom key: bitcc_welcome
- Custom value: xxxxxx
👏 Set/modify the description
To set/modify a description, simply set/modify the description in the 「profile」 — 「description」record of your DAS account.
In「profile」 — 「description」, set/modify the content of the description.
😎 Set/modify the avatar
To set/modify your avatar, simply set/modify the avatar in the 「profile」 — 「avatar」record of your DAS account.
In 「profile」 — 「avatar」, put your avatar URL.
*Recommended format:
- .png, .jpeg and .svg are all supported
- Square picture
- ≥ 120px*120px
🤩 I want to set my bit.cc URL to redirect to other specified website, how do I set?
You can set bit.cc to act as a portal to your other website. When a user enters your bit.cc page, the page will automatically jump to the other pages you set.
Simply add a special record in your DAS account.
- Custom key: bitcc_redirect
- Custom value: http://xxxxxxx
